ABOUT DR. LEE
Norman Lee, MD is a board certified Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist, who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of mood, anxiety, and personality disorders. He is an Attending Psychiatrist at Columbia University Medical Center where he teaches medical students and residents. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and a candidate at the New York Psychoanalytic Institute. As a graduate of the four-year acting program at the Juilliard School, Dr. Lee also has a strong interest in the treatment of men and women in the performing arts.
Dr. Lee earned his medical degree at Weill-Cornell Medical College where he also completed his general Psychiatry residency. During his final year at Cornell he served as Chief Resident. He has his undergraduate degree from Brown University, and he did his post-baccalaureate work at the University of Pennsylvania.

As a medically trained and board-certified Psychiatrist, Dr. Norman Lee’s goal is to provide individualized and compassionate care. He hopes to help people maximize strengths and achieve fulfillment in relationships, careers, and personal growth.
Getting help begins with a thorough psychiatric evaluation which includes a detailed account of the client’s unique challenges as well as his or her medical and social history. Sometimes this can take more than one session. Dr. Lee works with his clients to come up with a treatment plan that they create together. This can include talk therapy, medications, or a combination of both.

Fees
Description of Fees
Dr. Norman Lee does not participate in any insurance plans. Patients pay for their treatment at the time of each visit unless other arrangements are made with the doctor. Many of his clients have insurance plans with generous out-of-network benefits that provide reimbursement for a substantial portion of Dr. Lee's fees. Dr. Lee will supply the necessary documents for reimbursement filings.
